Ghana Flying $3 Million In Cash To Brazil For World Cup Team

Summary:
Ghana's cash-strapped football association has asked for an advance on the $8 million prize money it is guaranteed from the World Cup to pay outstanding debts to players.
It wasn't clear how Ghana would bring such a large amount of cash into the country without declaring it and paying tax on it in line with Brazilian law.
Yet FIFA hasn't yet made a decision on handing over any prize money to Ghana in advance.
Persuasive:
I think giving players prize money earlier is bad. Because that can be considered as special exeption by other countries. That's not good for the Ghana's nation image. Also, the player can be lazy during remained World Cup season for the reason that they got money already. Some players may think they don't have to try their best. Finally, it can influence people to think that money is the only best prize for something. On the other words, money can be the prize but hurrying to give money can be seen that government tries to motivate players by only money, not by more important things such as nation's honor and desire.

GHANA-INDEPENDENCE DAY-HEAVY RAIN

Summary:
Armored vehicles of Ghana Armed Forces are parade in heavy rain at the Independence Square in Accra, Ghana, on March 6, 2014. Heavy rains that lasted over an hour interrupted the 57th Independence Day celebration of Ghana here on Thursday.
Persuasive:
In my opinion, having a ceremony which celebrate the day like Independence day should be encouraged. First, these kind of ceremonies will make people remember history of their nation. They will wake up when they remember the history through this kind of ceremony. Second, the ceremonies wiil be able to have the people love their nation and have loyalty. People can notice that the person who was devoted to the nation himself will be remembered as a good man to descendants by seeing or participating these ceremonies. Third, other good spirits can be flowed by the ceremonies. Many good traditions and habits of the nation can be shown in the ceremonies. For those three reasons, the ceremonies should be done by regularly.

How to ... get one billion people to wash their hands

Summary:
Handwashing is a low-cost way to save lives. Unilever brand Lifebuoy shares its experiences getting people to use soap. Regular handwashing dramatically decreases diarrhoea and pneumonia - the two biggest causes of child death globally. Photograph: Oscar Siagian/Getty. At Unilever, on the Lifebuoy health soap team, we have embarked on a big behaviour change programme to change the handwashing habits of one billion people.
Persuasive:
I insist that teaching handwashing habits to the children will be good. First, It can reduce their probability of disease by getting rid of germs in hand. Clean hand is very important because we can touch almost every part of the body. Second, It prohibits the spread of diseses. Many disease like cold spread by hand to hand. Hand washing can reduce this kind of spread. Third, handwashing makes the people feel refreshed. Except removing germs, we can feel also our feeling is refreshed.

An influential, vibrant, exciting force: defining African feminism

Summary:
What does it mean to be a feminist in Africa today? Some of Africa's best commentators share their thoughts. A debate has ignited among the Guardian’s Africa network partners. In a guest blog for Ms Afropolitan Doreen Akiyo Yomoah wrote that "you are a woman" was her least favourite word combination in the English language, proceeding to outline the five most irksome assumptions made on the basis of her gender.
Persuasive:
I exclaim that feminism is not always good. Let me show three bad sides of feminism. First, feminism make wall between man and woman. If one gender starts to insist only their own rights. There are possibilities for opposite gender to have a hostile mind. They cannot have good relationship. Second, because of bad sight to the opposite gender. It's hard for them to meet a good partner. Even if they do, the relationship can be unstable because of their mind. Third, the feminism activity is not productive. Feminists usually do many things but most of them are not beneficial for the public. For those three sides, I think feminism is not good.
